New gaming mice advies

Hello everyone!

I'm selling my Razer Mamba TE and need some advice of what to buy next. Can you give me some advice of which gaming mouse to buy? My budget is 50 euro max. I was thinking about something from Logitech, since I really like the shape of those and that's what made me sell Mamba. I don't need 18k DPI, seriously, who does.

To sum things up. I'm looking for an advice for a gaming mouse. Budget 50 euro. Wired. I definitely don't want it to be wireless. Preferably as similar in shape to Logitec G502 as it is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Logitech 502 and 602 would be my recommendations. Amazon seems to have them right above 50, at 54, if you can squeeze out a bit extra. Otherwise, they have used options within your budget.

"worse"

well, i used the g402 and I don't think this sentence does justice what this sensor is capable off. I highly doubt that anybody normal will feel a difference between the two, they are both on a very high level

I'll admit to being a PC snob, not quite PCMR but definitely snob. Alas i just don't care about gaming mice, i've used a £5 microsoft wired mouse one after the other for like 5 years now, and still frequently win multiplayer CSS.

IMO if you suck at FPS games, it's not your mouse :)

I don't play FPS games ;) But I wouldn't buy 5 euro MS mouse because of it's shape. I got an HPone at work and it was so terrible I had to bring my spare one from home. The buttons were weird, like you've had to press them really hard. The shape wasn't ergonomic at all, and even tho i use a mouse mat the precision was terrible... Now I use Trust GXT 152 instead of the HP one and it's not perfect, but it is like a million times better :)

This. I would always rattle on and on about various peripherals, but then at the end, my advice would always be: Go down to a store and get a feel of them if you can. Different strokes for different folks. A mouse may fit my hand but feel like a hedgehog in yours. You may like that plasticky feeling, or prefer a heftier, more solid version. Your hand may be big, may be small. It all depends.

Long story short, I've been through my fair share of mice. G502, Mamba, Sensei, Rival 500, G302, Some 10 Dollar mouse, etc. I find the 502 a great buy. It's contours and buttons fit perfectly in my hands, and clicks and sensors are all not only precise, but durable (except mine has succumbed to left click double click). The 402 has a similar shape to the 502, so I'd expect it to feel just as good. If you can find the G502 at a second hand price, I'm sure it will satisfy your budget. However, when I first read this, my mind was wondering: Why sell off the Mamba TE?

It's mostly because of the shape. I really don't like it. It doesn't fit in my hand as I would like it to. It's a good mice, but I don't like it. Also, It doesn't feel as solid as I would expect it from a mice for 90 euro. My girlfriend has a 15 euro Trust GXT 101 ant it feels a lot better than Mamba. At least for me. I was using her's GXT 101 for a while and it was more satisfying than Mamba.

Just as you said:

Not true. My roccat kone pure optical spins out in game.

Which is probably due to surface compatibility, Roccats A3090 are finicky due to the chosen LED´s, for me it only worked perfectly on the Taito and Goliathus Control.(they do improve accuracy though)

No they dont?

They both use the G502 and G900 both use a Pixart 3366 sensor, which is the 3360 but with logitech's little tweak on it..

(502, 303, 403, and G pro all use the same sensor)

Roccat does it, with the 3361, and Corsair with the 3367..

402 however uses a Am010 sensor, Its not bad its just that you might as well just get a 3366

With that being said, and OP not really into FPS games where sensors may matter to you.

Just get whatever fits your hand the best.

I agree, had a friend get the G602 and not like it after coming from tons of Razer mice but i tried it and fell in love, the thing fits my hand well, has the heft i need in a good mouse, and my favorite adjustable sensitivity so when i switch between 2 games i can change it real quick and not have to worry about going deep into the settings to adjust every game individually when my steam library is 70+ games
