B350 motherboard. Need approval...

Hi there guys,
Planning to get the new ryzen 1700. I would love to overclock the cpu as well.
I am currently looking at these models :
1) Asrock B350 Pro4

2) Asus B350 Prime

3) Gigabyte AB350 gaming 3

I ranked them from top to bottom of which one i prefer more. So are those choice actually solid? or i should just go with B350?

Thanks

Read reviews for each of them. Any particular reason you have chosen them in that order?

i5 6600k @ 4.4ghz on Hyper 212 Evo

Powercolor RX 480 8Gb Red Devil @1330Mhz

Bottom line:  Don't be a spaz or an 800lb gorilla when installing your expensive CPU, and you won't have any problems. --Phate.exe

Since they all feature overclocking support (I was able to hit 4.0 GHz on my 1600X using the Asus Prime B350 Plus) and more or less similar features, I'd say pick the one that has the memory you want on its QVL at a high frequency and the expandability that you want (USB ports, PCI/PCIe slots, etc.).

And of course, make sure the price is right.

I'd say the most important thing about a motherboard with regard to Ryzen is its support for high frequency memory. For the best performance/cost, try for 3000 or 3200 MHz. See if you can find a supported kit at high speeds on any of their QVL's for a good price, and then aim for that board. I made the mistake of just taking a shot in the dark with my RAM, and am stuck at 2400 MHz until Asus supports it at its native speed.

Current Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti FE

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Tuf X570 Plus Wifi

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53

PSU: EVGA G6 Supernova 850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

Current Laptop:

Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS

GPU: RTX 3060

RAM: 16GB @3200 MHz

Old PC:

CPU: Intel i7 8700K @4.9 GHz/1.315v

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A

Approval denied  [seriously though they're all practically the same, as mentioned you want fast ram so follow the advice on that, but OC'ing between b350 and x370 hasn't shown any real difference and I haven't heard of any particular manufacturer OC'ing better than the rest]

Been searching for reviews for these boards in particularly since the launch of ryzen, been asking around but just got vague answer like xx is best because it is the best. If there are any place that gives reviews with all of these, i would have already went through them. I am just asking to know if anyone experience any issues with overclock on those 3 motherboard.

What about Newegg, Amazon and other places where customers review them? Give you a more insight than some tech website reviewing it.
