Any difference between RAM sets?

So I wanted these white RAM sticks in a 2x8 16GB set and I saw that to get 4x4 it's cheaper than a 2x8 set. Is one better than the other because of a different number of sticks?

Also is it weird that I'm trying to match colors in my PC and I don't even have a window?

Provided it's not running in a board that supports quad channel (basically, if it's not on the 2011-3 platform) then it doesn't really matter. If you think you'll ever need more than 16GB, go for 2x8GB as it can be upgraded by just adding more sticks. If not, go for 4 sticks as they're cheaper and a full set of RAM slots looks better (assuming this is LGA1151)

Just make certain you have the clearance since some larger coolers can interfere. I can't use four ram sticks with my 212 EVO because, on the Asus Prime B350 Plus, the included cooler mounts (which the AM4 bracket mounts to) are mounted up and down with the cooler pushing air up rather than left and right with the air pushing through the back of the case, which makes the cooler sit just above my leftmost ram slot.
