Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 3DMark scores?

zPanic

I recently upgraded from a Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X 3GB to a Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB.
These are my card's scores.

Am I wrong for expecting a better score out of this card?

This test was on Firestrike DX11. I did a test on DX12, and that score resulted in around 4000-4100.

I'm starting to think my decision to upgrade was wrong.. 3DMark does not recognize my card. Is that because it's still fairly new?

I didn't remove my old drivers after swapping cards. I simply installed Crimson and let it update my drivers to the latest version.

Is something wrong with my card, or am I just expecting too much?

This is just wrong.

Did you use DDU to remove previous drivers before installing the latest ones?

Could this be an issue? I'm truly bummed about the performance compared to my old R9 280X, since I did drop ~280 euros to upgrade..

Yes, it could be an issue. Just install DDU, follow it's instructions, then download latest.

Thank you. I'll give this a shot.

Should I remove all and any drivers, then reinstall drivers for my RX 580?

@TheRandomness @chris76816

Thank you for the suggestion.

These are my new results.

Here is the comparison.

The highest score is after using DDU to remove my drivers (GPU#000 was R9 200 series) and reinstalling drivers for my RX 580.

Thank you for the suggestion. It didn't improve by a landslide, but I'm still happy to see some improvements, even if every result differs.
