1080 or 1080ti

Hi guys this is my first post here and I thought to get some advice for a new PC build.

My main focus is 3D modelling for games and GPU rendering. I do need lots of Vram and cores. This is what I am planning to buy:

Ryzen 1700

Asus Crosshair VI Hero

Corsair Vengence 3000 Mhz 16 gb x 2 (Might upgrade to 64 gb later)

Zotac 1080ti Amp Edition Extreme

Corsair 1000 watt power supply

I have rest of the stuff from my old 8350 pc including 240mm Liquid Cooler from Cooler Master and Asus Hero supports AM3 coolers I think.

Now the issue is that which GPU should I buy Evga 1080 which costs about 600$ USD or 1080ti which ranges from 900-1100$ USD. Does the price difference here justify the performance difference?

Also the 1080 ships from US and I have some concerns regarding International Warranty and is there any reason to consider Zotacs 1080ti Amp Edition Extreme over just Amp Edition, the price difference is over 100$ USD.

Any Feedback would be appreciated. THANKS!

If you want performance basically as good as a titan, go for it. it's worth it. the zotac cards are definatley not as good though, so be careful.

EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3! (Or black edition if you want a more subtle design). I don't know that much about Zotac, but:

In your case the card itself won't matter, as long as it's an aftermarket cooler, as much as finding, like you say, an international warranty that's supported in your country.

That power supply is tremendous. It'll be efficient though :P

$900-$1100 for a 1080 Ti? No way, unless sellers at Amazon are fucking up the price's, check Newegg they have 1080 Ti's at MSRP. Anyway the system looks good. Get a MSi 11G Gaming 1080Ti. Zotac cards are well, it's a different card lol.

Yeah the prices are pretty screwed here we have to give a lot of import duties. Lol I feel the same about Zotac Cards.

What Country are you in ? Also be aware that you might have to pay Customs charges depending on your Countries laws, so a $100 saving might not be that after you pay extra taxes/charges etc.

Now can you see why asus is better, no one is hating on zotac is build quality is just garbage tier for work load and performance for money wise

lol it performs as good as the G1 Gaming GTX 1080 from those benchmarks, that's not "garbage tier". Of course there are variations with different coolers, but there's nothing wrong with Zotac cards.
