4K Horsepower

I am thinking of doing 3 4k 27" screeens with all the bells and whistles. Will a gtx1080 sli setup be enough?

It would be better to invest in one 1080Ti.

Why are you getting 3 4K monitors? For gaming that makes no sense as your focal vision only covers about 2 square inches of screen I usually reccommend either 1 4K and 2 1440 monitors or 2 1080 monitors.

i wouldnt even bother for the simple reason 60hz is awful, id rather go 144hz dual 1440p.

I think NCIX tech tips did a quad SLI Titan X setup, and it had a hard time running games at triple 4K.

Remember that just because you can, doesn't mean that you should...3K is a lot to drop on a computer, let alone monitors. Keep in mind that there are other things that you could spend money on, or save up for the future.

Depends if you're going to go to the fight pits in RuneScape (See your profile picture? maybe or I'm going crazy), or if you're going to try to play Forza Horizon 3 or something similar with all three monitors at once.

I'd say you'll be fine if you play the games on just one of the monitors.

Should be. It'd be around the equivalent of 6K, about half the resolution of the setup in the video, right?

Yeah but I have my setup all planned out. Its gotta all match my black and red theme. Its okay if I have to spend a bit more to get a good gsync monitor with 144hz 1440p. Its not just for perfomance, its an art peice.
