External Monitor Support for the AMD R4 Mullins/Beema Chip

considering buying a USB 3.0 Monitor to be a third in my suite. Have a laptop + HDMI TV currently so that leaves the USB 3.0 port available. Anyone able to tell me with a definitive answer that a laptop running an AMD A6-6310 APU with Radeon R4 Graphics will support the third external (usb powered, usb only) monitor via the supplied AOC displaylink software? machine is attached to my profile. Cheers.

If the monitor is based on USB, then it's my understanding that it does not go through your graphics card. Instead, it has a display driver built in. That's what my USB to DVI adapter does, which should (I would think) be very similar to this, just with a monitor built-on.
