Workstation Monitor

Hey guys,

I'm planning to do a 3D rendering/modelling/animation workstation build very soon,

including a gtx 1080 ti, and a ryzen 7 1800.

I'd like a new monitor, the one I have right now is severely problematic for the work I do, colors are horrible,

screen is too small, and the refresh rate is iffy. Also, it is small, I'd like to work on a bigger monitor than 21 and a third inch.

I don't want a curved screen, or any wide screen for that matter. I simply don't have enough space.
a 25 to 27 inch monitor would be a good fit.

HDR is not really a concern of mine, I don't need it as far as I can tell.

My budget is around 400 to 500 euro for this monitor. (600 maybe if it's really good, but I don't really know monitor prices)

Things I search for in this monitor:

- Good color support

- some usb ports would be nice

- a good refresh rate (maybe 144 Hz?)

- IPS or something that'll keep things looking ok from different viewing angles

- 25 to 27 inch diagonal screen size

Further questions I have:
- 4K? Yes? No? Maybe?

- How much color space do you really need?
- Refresh rate, does it matter for content creation/ergonomics? (I'd like quite a bit less eye strain pls)

Thanks in advance!
