Good mechanical keyboard under $80-90?

Merkey

Hi, I allways thought mechanical keyboards are useless, but when my cheap chiclet keyboard broke, I changed my opinion. I am a newbie in this section, so would you have any suggestuons for good mechanical keyboard for typing and gaming? It does not have to be rgb, or super gamer-styled. Thanks for any tips :)

G710+? I have it, and it's great. You'd probably want the Brown version.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

@DocSwag

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

tbh, since cherrys patent on the mechanical switches ran out there are so many decent mechnical keyboards for like 20-50 bucks out there, you will need to be a bit more specific.

What style of switches would you like? What features are you looking for? Any specific asthetic you want to have?

I would like cherry mx black or red, I don't require any special features. I like more cleaner look, no gamer shaped design

Easy, keyboards are not that hard to find for a good price. Go for a less mainstream Keyboard like this (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Wired-Keyboard-600-Layout/dp/B001QT6V7A/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1493281579&sr=8-5&keywords=keyboard) or if you want to be better than that. Go for a different company like Logitech, they are cheap and decent quality.

Keyboards are not too important with pcs as long as they work.
