As of recently i just cannot be bothered or enjoy playing games anymore, i used to play all the time. i feel as if it has to do with the fact that i spend all my time using computers (job and college) and i just sick of it? is this normil

Yeah a lot of people usually lose interest with age. When you're young you can't afford much but have all the time in the world. When you're older you can afford all of them, but you have no time. :|

I have the same "problem". Just bought witcher 3 and I have not played it since 2 weeks. I also have some unplayed games which I bought on sale.

 

I currently play maybe 2 games LoL a day and that´s it. I rather do sport now

yes , diversify....ive stopped gaming and started organizing my music and dvd collection plus other bits. a pc is not life its just a tool...

Depends on how you look at it.

 

If you like something and spending time doing it gives you joy then I wouldn't call it a waste of time, whatever it is - video games or anything else.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

That's fine... I used to play video games a ton, now its just a few games of Rocket League a week. Honestly I'm not unhappy about it, I feel like it gives me more free time to do other things.

Im into BMX for social, but I did enjoy video games its just I have no money to buy new ones, actually thinking of selling me pc, and just using the money to buy other things

I'm passionate about PC's but I had just as much fun upgrading and maintaining my PC as I did gaming on it. However these days my sister uses my PC as much as I have been for playing the Sims. Which is quite funny because I got a old hard drive for her so she could download all her mods (and origin) without wreaking havok on my main system I put time into optimizing to my liking. So When she does want to play I have to open case and swap some cables. I do have one of those fast slots on top of my case but I have never used it, and I wouldn't want to run a system on an easily disconnected drive.

I have several unplayed games, that eventaully I will get too. Not really in a rush either. Take your time dude, just because you built a PC and arn't using it doesn't mean you wasted your time. It's just what you'd rather be doing at this moment.

I rarely play games any more but I am more into the hardware and programming. I have spent more time in fire strike bencmarking and precision x then any game I own on steam. Don't get me wrong I love games and would play them any time but I find OCing more fun.

Its normal, I get sick of games so I end up doing stupid stuff like seeing how many games can my PC play at once (answer to that is 8 somehow). Or I end up looking through Amazon and Newegg and see all the stuff I cant afford :P

Yes, completely normal IMO. I actually prefer gaming on console anyway, as use PCs most of the day. Plus I've found that the more choice you have, leads to indecision and then apathy. I love to find projects to do, get my mind working and feel great for accomplishing something or even failing, but trying again... then my downtime seems more valuable and a nice gaming session lets you wind down... that's just me though maybe, I can't speak for anyone else.

It could also be boredom with a genre, like shoot em' ups... they get very similar after a while, I ahve now given up on COD completely, they weren't going anywhere IMO and just $$$ hungry new games that could have been just add-ons to any previous version of the game. What about trying some strategy games or adventure/RPG games OP, if that's the case?

Could even be a sign of depression, I suffer from that unfortunately as a side effect of my medical condition and drugs I have to take.. I sincerely hope that it isn't depression, but if it is, please see a doctor. I suffered for years with it, and even though I still have it, it is very reduced compared to before the medication.
