Whats the most amount of cold hard cash you've ever walked around with?

I had a few grand for car repairs.

Traveling in Europe, in Spain and Budapest it wasnt uncommon for me to have a grand or more from the Western Union outlet.

200-300$ Canadian or so. Birthdays, Christmas, and co.

 

Never keep more than 60$ or so. I put everything on the CC, even if it's 1$ (if I'm allowed to). Rewards are essentially free money.

Lordy, I always hate carrying physical cash on me. Rarely carry more than $20 or so, I just use my debit for everything.

Regardless though, $8,500 when I bought my piano. I went into that deal with one thing on my mind, "im going to haggle." talked the seller down from $8,500 to $8,150, simply because he really didn't want to see it anymore. Great fucking deal imo.

i used too wlak around with around 5-15k on the regular but that was along time ago and i try not to talk about those things anymore. nowadays the max was 6 grand when i bought a car last year.

For some reason (most likely an illegal reason) I was payed in cash for a freelance job once. 

I really only carried it for about 10 min. from my place of work to the bank. I always hated carrying cash around and luckily I live in a society that has fully embraced electronic payments.

When I went to South Korea I did take a million won with me, but if you work out the exchange rate it sounds rather less impressive.

 

I don't recall carrying more than a few hundred GBP if I'm buying something cash. Anything above that would use other methods, at least within the UK bank transfers do not cost individuals and with the current system it usually arrives same day. I'm considering buying out my car from the finance deal, and they require the payment by bank transfer.

 

The only time I was somewhat concerned was when my mum closed a bank account and took it out in cash. That was 5 figures GBP. The train ride home was the longest one ever...

About 1 grand. Can't quite remember why, think it had something to do with guns. I pretty much ran the money as a delivery boy from one person to his friend at the gunshop, and I got to keep 150 so it was worth imo. Now the most I carry is like 20$-30$
