Windows XP Pro reboot/boot loop

My old Gateway laptop is stuck in a reboot/boot loop, im not sure what is wrong but i think its a corupted piece of the OS on the Boot Drive. if this is true i think a fresh install of windows will fix it but i dont have an install disc for windows XP Pro atm.

the CPU is an AMD Turion 64 and it has 2 DDR RAM Sticks/chips

I have done this a few times on my own laptop:

-on a different machine make a windows repair USB drive

-boot from that

-click the fix install option

link:

*Can't find any and I'm tight for time.

-Shouldn't be too difficult or complicated though.......

get a new pc or get a new hdd and try to reinstall windows

i think the copy of Windows XP Pro may be corrupted beyond repair because it kept shutting down at random when i tried to fix it, i was however able to get a copy of Windows XP Home on it and it works. i just dought i will be able to recover anything from it because i was told it uses a connector config/standard from the 90s'
