My Monitor is dimming the colors

So the only thing I changed was instead of HDMI to HDMI into my gpu I changed it from displayport on the gpu to hdmi on the monitor.

So normally the colors are perfect. The bright version of my wallpaper is what I was used to and a second after everything is done booting

it dims the background and turns into what you see there. I haven't switched anything back yet as its a pain to pull it everything out and get

back there but I wanted to ask you guys as everything I've searched I cant find anything.

Go into your driver settings and change the RGB range to Full and then also check your monitor settings for Black Level and change it from low to normal.

Workstation:
