Anyone run the Unity Adam demo?

Now imagine my i3 and 950 at 1080p. Still not a fan of shadow effects in modern games but overall it does look really good.

Its actually really light on CPU just eats lots and lots of memory. It used up all 4GB on my GPU and took my system ram usage from 2.5gb to 12.

My CPU usage was around 80-90% iirc. It's sloooow.

It's unity; what do you expect? Low memory usage? HA.

 

I mean, unity doesn't really have a really good reputation in terms of performance. Pretty much any game that uses it runs like aids.

It destroyed your 970@720p but runs ok at 1440p with GTX980?

turns out the demo doesnt work with G-Sync very well. Was causing weird fps halving. I ran it again with ULMB and it ran like 80fps.
