Well that was unexpected :D, especially since the forum took a few seconds to load the photo after I read the post!

Looks like the fan has lost the retaining ring in the bearing and it has just fallen off, also it's time for a good cleaning.

Other than dust build up and needing to remove fans for ease of cleaning there is little to no difference in performance between push or pull.

It will get dirty as shit no matter how you put the fans on. You just have to have common sense and clean your shit once in a while to prevent buildup.

geez. no point in watching anymore

Oh wow I totally forgot about that now until you just reminded me, and no idea of the outcome of their experiment, just what I've found and seen overtime.

the real question is: is push/pull worth the dust build-up compared to just pull?

I would put 2 140mm pushing and 3 120mm pulling on a 280mm Radiator. (don't ask how I will install this, just imagine magic ;) )

It doesn't make any difference.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

I currently have 2 140mm in pull, but I want to put 120mm instead, so Will I loose performance if I put the 140mm in push and 120mm in pull?
