Gaming Desktop Build

Greetings everyone.

I have a decent pc but I am trying to sell it and buy another one.
More specifically, a desktop gaming pc, and thought that you guys might help.

I know how to build one, and what I need to do it.
But I have been off the market for a while now and, specially on choosing the motherboard, I need help choosing the pieces for my new gaming build.

I can go up to 1200€ tops, just the tower.

But if you can recommend me some peripherals, that would be great too.

Thank you so much! :D

What games are you planning on playing / at what resolution?

At the moment I am playing Player's Unknow Battlegrounds with a GTX960 2GB at 40 fps, but I am aiming for the best perfomance I can get with that budget.
I would like to play at 720/1080p.

For the mouse I'm probably going with another new version of Razer Deathadder, I bought one 7 years ago and it just started to fail a bit. I really like it for FPS games.

But I loved those two keyboards, I might just get one of those after my build.

Thanks you!

I'm not sure if I should go with the i5 or i7 for gaming...
And you both recommended the same RAM and SSD. I actually like the Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD a lot ( It is the one I am using right now ) But it is a bit more expensive.. maybe If I go with the i5 I can buy that SSD or do you think it is not worth it?

with a gtx 1070 or higher any i5 will bottleneck, while the i7 will not. it'll provide much smoother framerates and less fps drops. if you want to save money get an R5 1600, an unlocked i5 isn't worth it anymore. for gaming only a faster ssd just isn't worth it, keep the budget to other components.

I am not convinced yet..
Can you guys explain your builds? Why choosed this and that?

It would be really great. I am kinda lost on how many Watts my power supply should have, where can I spend less and where I should spend more for gaming.
