Free Geek-ish shop based in Europe?

As the title says, does anyone know of a shop like Free Geek based in Euorope?

I haven't come across one sadly. Something that comes somewhat close are pawn shops. They occasionally get some PC parts and some stores are even making simple Pentium 4/Athlon 64 PC's with some Linux distro on it. They probably need people to do that, so you could maybe volunteer for that.. No clue what kind of benefits that has (in terms of working for cheap hardware)

I think it's a small landmass to the east of Canada

Nothing international. But you should take a look how local communities handle recycling and other handling old stuff in general. In here recycling centers (which are apart from general junk/trash handling companies) do that. They don't have such wide range or warehouse space like what you see in Linus' videos. Which is because law requires shops selling electronics to take old stuff back.

Unfortunately I haven't found anything at least similar. Best I've found was shops selling refurbished components or builds, but the prices are ridiculous and their market is usually computer-illiterate people (charging $200+ for a 8-12 year old PC is ridiculous, considering they're something like 4 gig ddr2/80 gig hdd/some crappy dual core and integrated graphics).

I toyed with the idea of starting a FreeGeek-model shop but life turned that into a distant possibility.
