Soft drinks around the world questions

I have heard that it matters where soft drinks are made, such as coke is made with real sugar just about anywhere else than the us. I have also heard that in Norway/Sweden they have some of the best water in the world(treatment/filtering/etc) so through that logic, shouldn't a soft drink from there taste better and how would one go about importing some?

I heard Israel has the best water. They do reverse osmosis and stuff.

I actually today heard the Netherlands has some of the best tap water.

Anyways, usually the big fizzy drink companies have some big plants in a particular region and just ship it to where ever else, so the country matters a bit less I think.

fuck soft drinks because fuck sugar. It only increases your chance of diabetes.

I personally avoid sugar as much as i can after seeing the effects of diabetes on my grandma.

Restaurants use soda fountains that mix the drink in real time.  Basically there is a large bag of concentrated syrup, a CO2 cartridge, and tap water. The water is mixed with the syrup and the mix is carbonated when it is dispensed.  This means that the fountain machines can have different ratios between water, syrup, and carbonation, depending on it's configuration and maintenance policies.  Bottled Coca-Cola on the other hand is produced under much more exacting circumstances and the bottling plants are much more strictly monitored to produce a precise and uniform product.

Can't speak for all of the restaurants but my mother's Burger King (store manager running a very tight ship), Coca-Cola sends out techs to maintain the equipment to proper specs.

For sure, it's their name on the machine and they'll do what effort they can to ensure their product tastes like their product, it's the entire thing they market on after all.  But you also have a lot more room for variation in the machines, so you can get differences in product at different locations.  As much as Coca-Cola or any other major brand would make an effort to prevent that.

even cans can be different. Cans in Hawaii have ridges.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

So I could call Coca-Cola/Pepsi-Cola Netherlands/Norway/etc  and order it from them?

Just to be clear I am a fan of the big three and many smaller brands/companies

I wouldn't know if they would actually ship you some,. But you can try. Be sure to do a blind taste test too.
