Should I upgrade to a ultrawide?

bsmoot44

I do a lot of video editing and graphic design so naturally I have 2 monitors, I have 2 pretty shitty 1080p monitors that have worked fine but recently ive been really wanted to upgrade to something more crispy and of better quality.

Im wondering about the drawbacks of getting an ultra wide to replace 2 1080ps. Also I do a fair amount of gaming and im wondering if my dated 6gb 780 will be able to handle 1440p resolution.

I can only spend around 600$

An ultrawide is perfect for your use case. I would recommend the AOC U3477PQU. Also it might not be a bad idea to keep one of your 1080p monitors as a secondary.

Should be fine with the card and 1440. I used to play on an old card on 1440 with a 1080 side monitor.

do you think a curved display is something that I should consider or is it more of gimmick?

for a 34" screen, it is something you want. Anyways, even if it doesn't seem to add anything to the experience of using the monitor, it doesn't subtract from it.
