Floatplane website mock

Watched this video, and stopped on this frame;

cd9b87b0e123625798aeb1b7ca5f7a55.jpg

Quite a cool design, so I wanted to make my youtube feed look like that.

First I built a shell, and then, when tried the youtube APIs, I got stuck with keys I can't have, like `channelId` and stuff.

So this project is a bust (until I get interested again and write a youtube API mock), but at least there is a nice shell.

Also, "Floatplane", not "The Floatplane". We all know what happened to facebook..

Didn't want to just waste it, so here is a video for my archive of dead projects -

Note: this uses minimal styling (SCSS) as I stopped to work on it when encountered the API issue. It is similar, but differnt

Note2: Project time was about 2 hours (as I used a framework I am very familiar with and am a member of it's development)

I was thinking about making a mockup of the style and then introducing a backend but if I have no reason to do it (E.G: it's never going to be used because someone else is going to make it) then there's no point.

The new floatplane website is using Node.JS but it's not really that functional at the moment, it's looking great though but it really needs a lot of features (It's a development site so yeah..)
I've suggested a few issues/changes to Luke but he's not been online yet.
