It seems very ok, but I'd personally get a 1440p 144hz monitor over a 1080p 240hz one.

Change the power supply  to a supernova g2/3

Dont buy the reference gtx 1080, buy one with an open air style cooler

Do you need those 240hz monitor? What are you going to play on them? Are you using the pc for something else that is not gaming?

For the same price of those 2 monitor you could get an acer predator x34

@GothKazu

Very nice indeed just a couple pointers :)

The HDD is large but slow, i suggest a 7200 RPM drive

Also the NEX is marketed as gold but its awful. I'll make those changes for you brb.

Monitor is personal your preference although I do agree with the others you wont notice 240Hz and won't be getting the most out of your 1080Ti at 1080p. I recommend 1440p its the pc gaming sweet spot right now

change the psu to a g2 or g3 variant and your build will be flawless. the nex psu is a piece of crap and not worth the money.

thats about it unless you need a new keyboard and mouse and so on. i would also swap the screen for 1440p 144Hz but either option is a good pick. maybe swap the PSU to a EVGA G2 650 if you have a few extra bucks. the HDD i asume is for bulk storage but it may apear a bit sluggish seeing as its a 5900rpm drive and not 7200rpm so i would also swap it for a coupple of 2TB drives if you dont mind splitting your storage

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I put in a motherboard that isn't terribly overpriced, changed the GPU and PSU to a better model, and added a proper CPU cooler to overclock that 1700, which is rather important since they are clocked low by default

If you are doing content creation then the 240hz monitor are useless and awful as they are tn panels, buy some good ips with higher resolution 1440p, ad if ypu want to do some competitive gaming, find one with a144hz panel

About the gpu: don't  buy the ones with a single centrifugal fan, but thpse with multiple fan in wich you see the blades ( like the asus strix or the gigabyte aorus to name 2), at the same price of the reference you can buy the evga black editio  that is way cooler and quieter  than the reference

My build except with a non reference Ti would be best. I just left it as reference in case that was a budget choice :) happy building @GothKazu

EDIT: But ignore my monitor. I used OP's monitor choice in case he was dead set on it or it was purchased already.

im actually building this from the ground up. rn all i have is a Dell Inspiron 11, so i do need keyboard and mouse, any suggestions would be awesome

G502 spectrum for the mouse and a Corsair K70 RGB for the keyboard with brown switches. i have the G502 and it feels nice and the sensor is great and the K70 is IMO one of the best keyboards out there, solid metal build and great looks with genuine cherry switches :) i dislike the LUX's keycap font but if you dont mind go right ahead. another great mouse is the G402 prodigy, same sensor as the G502 but less buttons and no RGB. if you want a tenkeyless keyboard then i would get a cooler master masterkeys S or M(i prefer the M seeing as it still has the numpad so you loose no functionality :D)
