Brazil can be a lot like Russia, though instead of Vodka it is Cachaça(Capirinha), as long as there is plenty all joys, fights only happen when gotta decide who's doing the market trip to get more [:

The EU legislators logic is making dumb laws and regulations so it would look like they're doing something. In reality making even that meaningless of a regulation probably took years of committees and millions of euros, all wasted. If I had a say, all of the EU staff should be executed for treason, but unfortunately I don't make that call ?

You cannot ban VPN.

BTW, using a VPN is punishable when you use it to commit a crime ( be it electronic or whatever ) and when you like child porn as well.

What do you mean you cannot ban VPN? No say no ones can? So if you say no ones can, someone will do it eventually.

Have a look at China, only a few selected few VPN works 100% of time in China, the speed is reduce to barely usable. China essentially is blocking all external company that doesn't follows it rules. They have created a internet where most citizen don't need a VPN and the knowledge of them are only people who deals business outside of China.

If a school/company is able to block VPN access to everyone on the networks it isn't that difficulty for government to ban them but in real life they won't. It much easier to create VPN to harvest data and have certain database easily accessible, than multiple different ISP.

I don't actually mean VPN because it essentially impossible without reasonable hardware.

For most people this probably would not be a solution as they often have an international group of friends who are already content with using whatever VoIP service there currently using.

You are comparison is invalid.

China is self dependent, you simply cannot compare it to a 45 year old country.

Let me rephrase that for you, the government of the UAE cannot ban VPN's, this will only backlash on their foreign investments.

By investments I mean billions.

how is it retarded that they have to get a license? this is the kind of law you would see in the north america and europe too. i mean just look at the USA banning it to buy cars directly from factory just to keep the car salesman business alive. i agree that some laws in the middle east are weird, but its not like we don't have that much less weird laws imo.

The having to buy from a dealer is a state level law not federal. So you know. Which means not every state has it on its books. Michigan is one of the few, but mind you Detroit is the Motor City, which is a reason. Tesla is challenging or has challenged the law, not sure how far they got, I have a feeling the case could take a long time.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

yea someone pointed that out earlier (still thanks for pointing it out though). its just such a weird tactic, even on state level.

how did you do that? Etisalat are banning the voip packets and me and my friends we only use local ts server but it not working anymore, if you are using vpn this is not a proper solution as it will affect the gaming experience on the computer where you host the ts server
