External Antena for mobo

My router is getting really old (manufactured 2006) so I need a new one

my servers are also really old so I thought I would build a new server

I am building a server with dual ethernet and wifi so that I can have one ethernet port be WAN (connected to modem) and one be lan and then also have wireless lan

Parts List: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/cTurtle98/saved/pYyRBm

my only problem is that this computer will be tucked away in a cabinet with fans on the back for ventilation.

the motherboard only comes with antenas that screw directly onto the motherboard.

any recomendations on an external antena to use?

i need about a 4 foot cable on the antena so it can sit on top of the cabinet while the computer is inside

Found this 2,4GHz antenna:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA76H2GU1655&cm_re=2%2c4_GHz_antenna-_-0V9-001G-00001-_-Product

And a bit more expensive but the only 5GHz antenna i found with a base on newegg is this dualband antenna but didn't have any specs for the cable length:

depends on how far you need your signal to go.  Can always build or find a cheap Yagi.

I am building this computer to replace my router so it needs to be omnidirectional, yagi is highly directional

It wasn't specified, but you can get a lot of distance from it.  How far are you trying to transmit.  you can probably get away with a basic high gain antenna.  Something like an ALFA 5GHz 9dBi would be decent.  Just make sure you get the correct connector.
