hit windows-x and hit 'command prompt (admin)'

type 'diskpart'

type 'list disk'

type 'select disk #', with # being your flash drive

type 'clean'

type 'create partition primary'

type 'format fs=fat32 quick'

type 'active'

type 'assign'

then finally type 'exit'

I really appreciate you for showing us how to delete the partitions, but I have a larger problem, and you seem to know what you are doing. I am trying to write an image onto my flash drive but every time I try, it recreates the partitions. Before trying to write the image, I have followed your instructions and it rid the extra partitions. Any way you know that I could fix this? Thanks!

go to windows disk management (win+x and then disk management)

then select your pendrive and delete all the partitions (right click partitions and hit delete volume)

and then, click unallocated and hit new volume format it as FAT32.

and lastly, go to file explorer and double click the pendrive and click format (remember to format as FAT32 Once Again)

boom you are good to go :)
