Okay I'm installing fans on my case, but the wires are too short, but they can reach the pmw hub at the back of the case, how do i make it work though?

That fan hub is designed to take in a PWM input signal and 12V power through sata and provide an equivalent 3 pin DC voltage control.

So basically i need a sata cable just for it? Or can you put in more noobie friendly terms?

It just needs to be connected to the PSU for power and have a PWM in signal input for it to operate with speed control. The PWM input comes from the CPU header or say another fan header that is capable of 4 pin PWM control.

If you have a good quality board that has built in fan control and can switch between 4 pin PWM control and 3 pin DC voltage control you don't really need that hub.

Well i was wanting to use it cause I have 8 fans in my pc case. So i kinda need more places to plug them in.

Okay so i plug in the sata power from psu and connect my fans normally to it? I've tried this but the fans dont turn on

hopefully this helps - a sata power connector is the power cable that would go from your PSU to your HDD or SSD power port. See 9:49 for a quick shot as to what he's plugging in

As you can see by the picture, i have my sata connected, and the 3 other 3 pin fans connectors for my top case fans, they don't power on, what else do i need?

You need the cpu fan header connected a 4pin pwm header on your motherboard.
