Solution to connect wired-only Set-top box to Wi-Fi

AstroBenny

So we have this Set-top box which doesn't have Wi-Fi and have therefore been using Powerline as a long ethernet cable isn't really an option. However, we've found Powerline to be very unreliable: buffering using SD quality etc even though internet speed is more than enough @ around 60-70Mbps down with no problems with other Wi-Fi enabled/wired devices. I was wondering whether it would be possible to buy a repeater with an Ethernet port in order to connect to the Set top box..

What exactly would we need?

Thanks :)

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

if you have an extra router you can configure it as a wifi bridge. I had to do this with my desktop for nearly a year.

This.

you could also use a powerline adapter, that will get you great speed and latency.
