PC likes to run really hot?

RGProductions

My PC like to run really hot. I run fan-less as much as possible, however things run hot even on stock fan curves. 50c idles on a everything. Any suggestions?

You feel hot or the 50c makes you think it is hot?

I just don't like it being at that temperature for so long.

Are you using the new Skylake stock cooler?

Open up Afterburner and make a new fan curve for that sucker, the stock one is horribly conservative

I had it on one that works for most of the other cards I have, and I really like a silent build.

You said that you run the fans really slow, that might be why...

Thats main thing with no-fan configs. You have less noise, but higher temps. 50C isn't that bad at idle. Nor is 60C. They might be issue if you are running with those temps 24/7, but I would say you are good with 8-12h daily use for 5-10 years.

my issue with it was the fans would still spin up after about 20 minutes.

Without any case fans moving the hot air out then your temps are going to be high. Your GPU is spinning its fans up to cool it down.

I would suggest not running fan-less. Instead look for a fan that is capable of moving at least some air through the case with little noise.
