Can we pay for floatplane some other way?

Yay! The domain name "floatplaneclub.com" should be reserved to LMG right now.

It already is registered via GoDaddy. Which would be same hosting company that forums use.

It'll come. We're bundling this into a LOT of other upgrades that will also include a separate site instead of running it through linustechtips.com.

IP Board (the forum software we use) and its limited eCommerce module is the main reason for our lack of payment options. We could hack everything into it, but since we're ultimately going to replace it, the dev time seems better spent on the longer-term solution.

For the time being it means reduced funding for the project for us, and shutting people who can't use PayPal out of FPC.. but in the interest of pursuing our primary goal of building the best possible FPC we decided we can accept this temporary bad situation.

If you need some extra devs to assist you can tap the forum for help. I've worked with a few payment processor APIs to integrate them into my own personal scripts so I'd be happy to assist if needed.

If you have a debit card you can set up a paypal with that, then subscribe through paypal.

That is the thing though, in some countries like mine you can only open a paypal account if you link a credit card to it, and not every one owns credit cards, myself I am against those I like shopping stuff all in cash and the only card I use is a debit one, sadly Paypal forbids creating accounts and adding funds with anything but a credit card in a good amount of countries making it impossible to subscribe to the floatplane.

If LTT had a Western Union payment method I would have bought a year subscription solely to help out and have good looking forum account xD but oh well...
