@Jokrik I'd use colored tubing in my rig but honestly clear+ colored coolant just looks so much better IMO. I'm hoping to get enough money from LTC mining + Christmas money to pay for the rest of my watercooling parts :9

Yeah I used to use color tubes as well and clear with colored coolant does look abit more fancy

good luck with your build :)

Mini update!

The caselabs mounting bar has arrived, including the forgotten PSU plate cover
their customer support is one of the best I've encountered

Caselabsarrive_zps8f2bd24a.jpg

test fitting and thats where I'll probably mount the pump

on another note, the radiator is done!
very satisfied with the new spray paint, though its cheaper then the one which failed me; it got the job done

Love when everything goes as planned

  • 2 weeks later...
I'm bored
The cables are still in sleeving process, the GPU block is a nightmare to get thankfully there's a hint of light on this from FrozenCPU
The motherboard block is still in production
I hope I don't lose the spark for this build due to immense length of waiting time

so without further ado, today I've change the O-ring on the fittings to black
what a progress

Fittings_zps57937c47.jpg

and I've been entertaining myself with a new keyboard
limited ducky yellow edition with MX white
when will it end....

I run 3 different companies (as CEO), its in the car/people shipping transport, coal mining industry and hospitality

with all the pressure I get, I really need a good amount of hobbies, boys toys and workout to keep it level

pc and keyboards are just some of my getaway from all the stress, I have to travel every week to different cities so updates can only be on the weekend

actually raid 0 is more for prestige to me, but I heard Linus said in one of his video that he can feel the difference of raid 0 ssd in his rig with normal single ssd

have the budget and chance, might as well give it a try :)

Really nice build man.

Just a thought on the Raid 0 on the EVOs.  You can't use Samsung Magician with Raid0 which means you can enable RAPID.  RAPID actually works better than Raid for performance.  Plus, with Magician you can optimize your OS for SSD reliability.

It's up to you, but with Samsung and the features of Magician, I think you will be better off with an OS and Game drive.

Not trying to go off topic in your thread, but here are some benchmarks from RAPID with my 840 Pro just so you can see the results.  AS SSD and Atto QD=4 and QD=10

Thx for the input!

I'll find out more about RAPID since I've actually test drive the new RIV-BE with OS installed on raid 0

so far so good and no problem

I've read about Magician features, and it really is something

Thx :)

I've been having problem with my old rig, since it was all custom and it has been massively swarmed by dust (due to where I live)

the cleaning was was just too troublesome to do though I've put all the filters in place

I want something practical and easy for maintenance now

Thing is, heard EK will release the RIVBE block on January

you know how they work, it's probably gonna get delayed further

so... thats the annoying part

I've just found out that they are going to release the block on the 24th!

so it will be a 3 days DHL service from Slovenia to me :)

gonna keep me busy for the rest of the year having all the parts finally coming
