So I have a Dell Latitude D630 and I was wondering if I could upgrade the cpu in it. And if so is it worth it

no, usually laptop cpu's are soldered onto the motherboard

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

in those days they didn't solder as much, pga was common up till broadwell where intel changed to bga

not worth it with a d630 unless you can get the CPU cheap - max is t9500 but that's expensive as hell, t9300 is cheaper

idk
