Cassini probe shows that Enceladus is able to support life!!!

Whats more is water and the ice-shell themselves make for fairly decent protection against radiation, coupled with the sheer size/strength of the magnetospheres of Saturn & Jupiter and we quickly start running out of the big reasons why life couldn't be there.  There are plenty of reasons why life might not be there obviously, but planetary-wide stable systems are a really big deal if life is to have a shot in hell at taking hold, IMO.

there are a few theories out there backed with meteorite evidence that seems to suggest that life on earth originated on mars.

If you're referring to meteorite ALH 84001, then that is an abuse of the term "evidence".

Holy shit, this is pretty big news!!! If they find life on Enceladus it massively increases the chances of there being intelligent life out there somewhere and would prove that life in space is actually fairly common.

Intelligent life =/= to single cell life, we have no idea what the criteria for life on a planet is the solar system itself has a large role in the variables present so this would essentially tell us very little about the odds of intelligent life in the universe on any given planet, the only thing we can say for certain that this is intriguing and more research is needed.

There is no such evidence merely a hypothesis which is unprovable either way and thus not worth discussing, now the discussion of life possibly being transported in general via cataclysmic events such as a planet being hit by another planet  is worth looking into.

I know hence why I specifically didn't say intelligent life. The simple fact is this, if we can prove that life exists in two different worlds in a single solar system then it tells us that life out beyond our solar system is likely to be quite common, even if it is mostly simple or even fairly complex but not intelligent (what we would call animal life).

Even finding bacteria living outside of earth would be a huge deal for us right now.

Doubt I will be alive for such a discovery though I would be extremely fascinated in finding another intelligent life form such as humans and how theyve come go be. Such as are they still in a similar form of the native Americans, or are they extremely more advanced than us, languages or other various random things.

I assume its the massive gravity of Jupiter pulling the moon that is creating the heat needed for the hot tube thingys and water?

We've found places where boiling water comes out of the ground that are teeming with life and fairly recently an expedition found microbial life in the ice at the south pole. Within the last 15 to 20 years we've really changed our understanding of life dramatically to the point that we now understand that life can survive, and even thrive anywhere.

And yes, its the elliptical orbit of enceladus combined with the massive gravity of Jupiter that is squeezing then releasing the moon that's creating the hot core.

If they are smarter, they are being wise and keeping away. They know we have nukes, and that we are stupid enough to use them even if it means we all die.... (all those years with insane light bursts from a planet.. yes, if they knew about us, they'd know we got nukes by now).

If they are equally dumb or dumber then us, they dont know about us, and we better pray they dont have nukes or similar tech. As they will be dumb enough to use it.

That might be true, but if an advanced civilization is out there, are they observing us, or simply paying no mind?

A very good question.

Seems like it would depend on how advanced/intelligent that they are and whether they have already communicated with us or not. For all we know they could be controlling life as we know it on earth. I personally subscribe to the idea that presidents and such take orders from people above them. I don't necessarily believe that those in charge are more advanced beings, but I don't deny the idea. If they aren't in communication with Earth, maybe they are advanced enough to determine how long it would take us to reach them/have an effect on them. They could know what are planet's resources are capable of. On the other hand they could be clueless or scared of us. Without knowledge or clear communication between us we will never know and I do believe there are people on earth that do know something.

No doubt, genetics research is of major importance right now and this could also boost our understanding of the origins of life since we have a couple of hypothesis but none are really solid.

From Wikipedia:

Quote

Tardigrades are one of the most resilient animals known: they can survive extreme conditions that would be rapidly fatal to nearly all other known life forms. They can withstand temperature ranges from 1 K (−458 °F; −272 °C) (close to absolute zero) to about 420 K (300 °F; 150 °C),[11] pressures about six times greater than those found in the deepest ocean trenches, ionizing radiation at doses hundreds of times higher than the lethal dose for a human, and the vacuum of outer space.[12] They can go without food or water for more than 30 years, drying out to the point where they are 3% or less water, only to rehydrate, forage, and reproduce.[3][13][14][15] Tardigrades living in harsh conditions undergo an annual cycle of cyclomorphosis.

I wish I were this strong. DAMN!
