Best ram for ryzen 5 1600

So I'm building a ryzen 1600 pc with a b350m mobo. And I'm wondering what ram is best for this build? I know the g.skill flare x is supposed to be best but I'm wondering if I can get away with ripjaw v 3200mhz ram? And also if I buy flare x 2133 ram can I overclock it to 3200mhz? Or would I need flare x 3200mhz to do so? Or am I just totally mistaken on this 3200mhz thing being best for this cpu and would be overkill?

Best are b-die Samsung kits with the highest freq and lowest CAS latency.

Get the cheapest you can, with an acceptable clock speed.

The CAS latency really shouldn't affect CPU clocks too much.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Let me rephrase that. " link for recommended kit? "

I don't see anything... (probably an issue with my browser, or maybe just because Canada)

What RAM did you choose?

Anyways, this filter should work fine for you: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GF9Zcc

The title states it all. I want a 16gb kit. I know flare x and fortis is supposed to be the best but it's to expensive.

Anything with 3000mhz and cas 14 will work.  Samsung B dies :P

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

People keep saying that and I don't know what that means. Is the ripjaw v one of those? Or tridentZ?

Ripjaw V 3000 MHz cl 14 is probably the cheapest one with b die.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Go to PCPartPicker.com, search "ram" select the 3000mhz setting on the left, as well as setting it on 16gb kits only.  Then, scroll down to the spot where it says cas latency and adjust the slider so it can only show cas 14.

Voila, those are the compatible kits

So if cas 14 is the only compatible with ryzen, why is their cas 16 that was just made for ryzen? https://www.gskill.com/en/press/view/g-skill-announces-flare-x-series-and-fortis-series-ddr4-memory-for-amd-ryzen
