Ads on top of linked YouTube videos?

This happened twice already. I linked a video but an Amazon ad is on top of the video. @colonel_mortis @Slick

Here's the video I linked and somehow Amazon decided to put an ad on top

1. In the search bar type services.msc and run it

2. Scroll down until you see Windoes Update

3. Double click on it

5. Under Service status press Stop

Now you will no longer have any Windows Update at all. :)

What the hell does that have to do with Amazon ads on an iPad?

I don't think the browser cache should be an issue.

Just thought they look like those ads we had few days ago. When @CPotter had messed something in forum settings. My phone (S5, Android) is updating atm, but I check later if Firefox has issues on it.

That video (in the post that you originally had the issue) is working fine for me, in Firefox and Chrome. Short of amazon of being malicious, I don't know what could have caused this. Is it a recurring issue, or just that post?

I think it's just that post. I just posted it as a heads up if some other people might be experiencing it. It seems I'm the only one. ?

It's the curse of the Amazon. Microsoft doesn't want you to leave, kid.

I just don't want Microsoft logging the URLs I type especially when I'm feeling myself. ??

I'm sure Microsoft, Google, and plenty more already know those URLs...

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

At least with Google, I know exactly where it is going and what they're doing with it and most of the telemetry Google is doing is limited mostly to their online services, not the entire Android OS. https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Microsoft in the other hand does things without your consent and won't even tell the entire reason why they're collecting too much info about you. Most of the time, without consent.

I never had this issue on my PC using Edge, Chrome and Firefox. However, on mobile especially Safari for iOS, it happens.  @colonel_mortis
