while i understand that, there must be reviewers who do this for a living ? I simply don't understand. I have never seen this much of a benchmark drought.

Because NVIDIA is not advertising it as a gaming card but as a deep learning card.

I doubt that even Linus has a sample.

Most are pissed at Nvidia for this movement and have not wanted to do a review on them. This is likely why none of the big boys have done it.

Most of the reviews i have seen on youtube say they cant get one for review from nvidia because "its not for gaming, its for deep learning"

Just like with the Pro Duo, they don't give them to reviewers because 1) its not for gamers and 2) the review will always be "is expensive, performs great"

I used to have the first Titan X Pascal though I sold it as soon as this Titan Xp came around, I'm using my older also Titan X but Maxwell right now, so I do have experience with those and I can assure you gonna miss to little just going with the 1080ti

Titan X

I have the titan X pascal, so i was wondering whether i should take the dive. I have loved the titan, but i am running games on the ultra wide predator x34 and i just need like another 10-20% increase to get to where i need, i just despise having to turn visual settings down. I just don't wanna get another titan xp as that would be overkill and the 1080 ti just wont cut it.

NVIDIA was also advertising the previous Titan X Pascal as a "Deep Learning" card but they still called it GTX Titan X so people and reviewers were arguing that it is gaming card if it is GTX card.

So NVIDIA had to send it to reviewers and had to make support for game ready drivers.

Now this new Titan Xp is no longer a GTX card, so NVIDIA can show middle finger to reviewers and rich gamers.

If the 1080TI isn't enough for you, then you have no choice.

Then it shall have to be done, I will patiently wait for a review to see if it even has the drivers to run games.

It's not a gaming card and they aren't giving out samples. They didn't for the Titan X, and AMD didn't for the Radeon Pro Duo. If media outlets want one of these they need to buy them themselves.

The Titan X Pascal did not carry the GTX name. The only Titan X to carry the GTX name was the Maxwell card.

All the other Titans (original, black and Z) carried the GTX name too.
