So my brother wants to get a gaming PC and has a busget of £500 or $650. He wants to be able to play recent games at playable levels but not break the bank. What have you got for me??

Your build is overbudget by 30 and have only a 350w which limits upgradability. It depends on games. Mine also has an ssd. Not all games are heavy on cpu so he would be fine for now. But maybe if you downgrade your build to h110 mobo and 6400 then you can get around 500 pounds. And cheaper ram like one I showed.

A possible Ryzen build with a RX 480 8Gb, you could switch out with a 4Gb or cheaper 8Gb model to get better quality PSU, or mobo but the ones I choose should be jsut fine. Switching down to a RX 480 4gb might allow you to get a Ryzen 5
