CS:GO to get the Source 2 treatment this summer

So yeah. After DOTA 2 got Source 2 now CS:GO will get it as well. That just leaves TF2 on Source 1 for the three multiplayer games Valve currently maintains. Unlikely that'll ever see an engine upgrade though.

Well CSGO is kinda on Source 2 and it's been known that CSGO is getting upgraded slowly ( Maybe you remember the Valve AMA )

 

I think with the UI update performance is gonna get improved ( I hope ) and maybe more GPU usage ?

Get Faceit or ESEA if you want 128tick that bad. Better performance comes first and 64tick isn't that bad.

Also a lot of problems that people associate or associated with tick rate wasn't even related like the hitbox delay when players where jumping or where the hitbox would mismatch the players body and so on. Yes 128tick is better but 64tick is not that bad.
