Best GTX 1080

Which gtx 1080 should I buy? I want a good card and I'd like to watercool for better OC as well as to keep noise levels down in my PC but it's not 100% necessary. Which cards would be a good choice?

I'd buy the cheapest card you can find a block for. Look around on ebay too for 1080 blocks, they can come pretty cheap. When I bought my 980ti and block, that's what I did and got them for ~$120 less than the cards and blocks were at the time (I bought the card used as well).

The ASUS 1080ti is a pretty good card. Also EVGA has pretty good cards. No issues so far with my EVGA 1070. 

 

Edit: I don't believe these cards have a water cooled option available yet.

if you want the performance the price jump wasn't just for anything, you get your money's worth

 

That being said, unless you're running triple A games on the highest setting in something like 4k, you probably don't need it.

 

I use a lackluster 1070 from MSI with a 1440p G-sync monitor as well as a second 1080p monitor with almost every triple A game on highest setting as is.

 

and I haven't even really overclocked yet.

 

So ask yourself, do you need it?

any card is fine if you do watercooling get a 1080 and save money

The Ti does have better performance per dollar than then 1080. Then again, the 1080 will do just fine at 1080p 144hz. Just yesterday Newegg was selling new Gigabyte 1080 Turbo OC cards on ebay for $420, I'd keep an eye out for deals like those
