I wanted to do blue when changed over to the INWIN originally, but I already had red/white DDR3 and the colour sleeved cables, I like green/purple black builds aswell

Thanks

So I initially fitted an XSPC 120mm ax rad to the rear, but it looked bulky and I didn't like the tube routing, so I decided to change it for a 120mm Alphacool crossflow which needed to be spray white (duh lol)

Seemed my GPU temps were getting high (63C) which was due to a combination of a few things : Block needed reseating and cleaning and case airflow. So I reseated the block and completely stripped out the build to add a front intake fan. At the same time I painted the inside of the case white:
zUtMxAj.jpg
In the next picture you can see why it isn't located centrally on the front - due to tube routing

Sorry I'm a bit late on this thread but I love the custom backplate. How do you print out for the perfect paint? Is it just a vinyl sticker?

Ok so when this rig was first built I ran the benchmarks. Since then I've used RotTR DX12 as my sort of interval benchmark to measure improvements. Today it was patched for Ryzen optimisations

Original score : 88.91FPS (4ghz 2400mhz ram)

Todays score 98.73 FPS (3.95ghz 3200mhz ram)

Clean install everything is running a lot smoother in the benchmark, ,minimums are up quite a whack! And this is with the GPU at 2050/5000 (standard palit clocks)

No no it isn't finished, I was LYING!! 9_9

I was considering get rid of the RGB ram and grabbing the white Avexir Raiden, but hell it's expensive. I wasn't happy with the black ram in what is pretty much a white build:

J7GXQs1.jpg

So I stripped them down on Monday - painting was a pain, I think mainly down to a few things:

1) Brush anodised aluminium finish!

2) Britain is like monsoon land at the moment and pretty humid

however I got there in the end - well they're painted, just need to add the finishing touch

Looks fantastic man!  I'm assuming that the translucent G.Skill branded covers pop right off as they do on the non-RBG models?

I'd like to do more stuff like this, but I swap out parts way too much to justify the extra work.  I guess that's good and bad.

Yes, heat the covers up with a hair dryer and gently prise it away. The cover has locating lugs which sit in the upper sloped part and then some kind of at the top and bottom which just wrap around the plastic covers. I can't see it been any different as the RBG's are all mounted on the PCB (which I very recently discovered :D)

I didn't use the software as it was in beta and not compatible with the board's. I decided to remove the boards to get the ram to match

What a stunning build, it's really nice to see something like this in an InWin case.  I feel this sort of project, with a 'better-than-factory' quality finish is what they're designed for.

Thanks - They're definitely designed with looks in hand, airflow aint great once you put 3x radiators in there!

I got some more work done yesterday, unfortunately the acrylic I cut out earlier in the week wasn't quite the right size - My fault for measuring when everything was still installed, so I started again

Stripped the PC down
