Monitor for PC and Console Gaming.

SpaceKyoudai

Hello, I'm looking for a Monitor that can be used for PC and Console(Ps4 Pro) Gaming.

I always wanted to try 27inch monitor but Im worried that it will look stretch while playing PS4.

I'd prefer if the cost is under 500$ CAD

I would like to hear all your suggestions.

personally i would opt for a nice 4k HDR TV rather than a monitor for console + PC gaming.

For $500 CAD? Maybe a 4K TV but no HDR. Or maybe I'm wrong.

If you have a GPU that can do 4K, and even if you don't, grab this one

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01IRQAYPE/

It's a big 4K monitor, and it will look great on both the PS4 Pro and in your PC

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

If you have a AMD card you can get this:

https://www.amazon.ca/24-inch-FreeSync-Monitor-MG24UQ-Response/dp/B01DHS30OE/ref=sr_1_14?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1490688748&sr=1-14&keywords=4K+monitor

It comes with free sync! Even if you don't have a AMD card it still good, it's small though.

If you want to reply back to me or someone else USE THE QUOTE BUTTON!

I'm not sure about that Monitor, it has FreeSync and i have GTX 770.

I just did a quick search and GTX 770 supports 4K just fine :)

I feel like I'm paying extra for that feature that I will never use. It looks really good, thank you for this, I will do more research on this.

This is what I currently have.

I'm planning on building a new computer with 1080 Ti / 7700k in the future.

It's in the name, Freesync is free :P

Well, it doesn't add cost to the monitor, or not much at all. When I chose it to show to you I didn't know it had Freesync.

Also that's a reason to consider looking at Vega cards when they come out, you'll have the benefit of Freesync

I  forgot about the VEGA. We should have more information about them soon!

I'd like Gsync Monitors but they're so expensive so that may be another reason to get FreeSync.

It would be nice if VEGA is just under 1080Ti in terms of performance. I guess I'll just wait a bit for more information on the card.
