Tjclone42

What's the difference between the

Dell S2417DG

Dell S2716DG

All I can seam to see is the 27inch being the only difference.

It's a 4K (not 1440p)

Doesn't have 144hz or 165hz refresh rate

To tell the truth is think I can live with the 4k 60hz display for now. Sense I'm used to having to use my 1080p TV. Might as well go for the better picture with 4k. Any disputes or ideas like? I'm planning on upgrading an getting a 4k 144 hz monitor when they come out later this year anyway.

How do games scale to 1440p? Or are they fine even the 1080p as long as it's 16:9? Need to know this last thing. Will probably go with 144hz if so

If you plan to game on 4k 144hz you must turn down the settings.

1080p is still fine. Higher resolution don't make much difference in games.
