Sapphire Nitro+ vs. Asus RoG Strix RX 480 8GB:

Which one's better? Which one would you buy? Vote and justify!

In my opinion, RoG Strix is more appealing, but according to both Asus's and Sapphire's websites, Nitro+ has higher OC.

What do you think?

i have a nitro plus and it is clocked at 1266. its a great overclocker, but ive heard that the asus card is better for extreme overclocks.

RoG Strix can be connected to case fans, maybe that's the reason why it's cooler, great feature...

There's also owners of the strix reporting oc to 1400mhz possible.

I read that Trixx (Sapphire) is a good overclocker, but I don't know anything about GPU Tweak (Asus)

Both my RX 480 GTR OC'S run at 1450 mhz, so i would say xfx ;)

Tems are between 75-85c on a aggresive curve tough, they aint that loud

Let's agree to disagree

I didn't mentioned other brands because almost all are more expensive than these two (except for Gigabyte)... At least in my country.

What about Asus Dual RX 460 2GB? A friend of mine is planning to buy that GPU, is it any good compared to other brands?

Well, that "bit" is about $75-100 and he has a really tight budget. I told him to get a Zotac Mini GTX 1050... I was wondering if Asus Dual has a good quality PCB.

Stick with the Zotac. My rule of thumb is avoid any lower end Asus products. They tend to be quite crap.
