WHATS THE POINT

There are ports on my motherboard. DVI usb .etc and ports on my GPI. DVI and displayports .etc. Whats the point of having it on both motherboard or GPU.  IF YOU ARE CONFUES BY WHAT IM SAYING. Just explain to me what are the use for the ports on both things. Thanks <3

Many processors have integrated graphics, so if you're not using a GPU, these ports can be used for video out.

 

Also might wanna choose a better title next time.

The ones on your motherboard are for your integrated GPU

If you need to diagnose a GPU or want to add monitors without cluttering the GPU, you're always able (if your CPU has an iGPU).

Because not everyone uses a GPU and most CPUs made in 2017 (Minus the Ryzen series and FX series) have iGPUs, or Integrated GPUs.
