Cpu cooler compatibility

2 days ago i started thinking i should build my own custom gaming pc and now i am at this point where i don't just know that does the cryorig r1 ultimate cpu cooler fit to the asus rog strix z270f gaming motherboard. I have searched for the information for many hours but i have not sill figured it out. So is the cryorig r1 cpu cooler compatible with asus rog strix z270f gaming motherboard :/. Can someone help me with this thing please.

Ok so the z270 motherboards use the LGA1151 socket - thats what you need to look at to see if the cooler is supported. The cryorig website says LGA1151 socket is compatible, so you should be good!

 

What i would say with the CPU cooler though is to make sure it fits in the case you want to use, that will more likely be an issue than it not being compatible with your motherboard.... 

 

Dont worry about being confused though, just ask questions in the new builds section of the forum and people will pretty much answer your questions in minutes.
