danial9

i am new to game but how does the rank up works.

i think wining games u will sure rank up. but if you play lets say all gold nova 1 players but due to bad team members you lose the game even thought myself did good. will i rank up or down becasue i cant even talk with some of them as they speak Russians and keep losing games . dont even know how they get there rank.

right now i have 45 hours won like 22 competitive wins and gold nova 2 rank.

Well its just some invisible elo thing, where if you win games you get points and you lose you lose some points. It has been predicted that number of rounds won plays a part but not even everyone is sure of that.

Just play more games and climb the ladder, it took me 450 games to get to SMFC years ago but i heard it's pretty brutal now with hackers.

Only really in non-prime matchmaking, if you don't have a phone number registered.

I've only encountered one hacker in around 200 matches and that was in non-prime

idk

So each rank has has an invisible numbering system. MVPs and wins get you more points, Deaths and losses make you lose points.

Turning your matchmaking ping down will make it so more local players are playing with you.

While the time i was climbing the ladder, i have seen 0 hackers. But i heard people during the same period of time has hackers in 1/10 of their games.

Really weird if you ask me.

1 in 200? Lucky...

out of the past 50 matches I've played, maybe 20 have hackers in them? (Walling, Aimhacking, Bhops, Spray control scripts etc.)

How well you do on the board, plants, defuse, clutches, points , retakes, wins. It's been forever can't remember if there are others but those are the essential ones

Different now. MVPs and Team wins are what help the most.

Ranking up is VERY slow unless you're playing crazy above your rank. (50 ish kills a game and 9 or more MVPs)

Think of every rank being a 1000 point window (Silver 1 being 0-999, S2 1000-1999 etc) Wining one game and getting 5 MVPs will get you somewhere around 40-50 points.

Hardcore carrying and getting 45 kills and 8 or more MVPs would get you 80-100 points.
