Chipset Cooling - How Hot is Too Hot?

So I have 3 systems with unusually high chipset temperatures compared to the other systems I own.

 

The first system is a brand new Ryzen 7 1800x build with an Asus Prime x370-Pro motherboard. This system's chipset averages between 77°C and 80°C. It is in a full sized ATX case and the chipset cooler gets plenty of air flow.

 

The second is an Intel i7-6700 on an Asus B150i motherboard. This system's chipset averages between 79C and 81C. It is in a Mini ITX case (Antec ISK 300-150). It wasn't getting great airflow at first, but after noticing the temps I added a second 80mm fan and shortened the cable runs in the case as much as I could. Now the chipset gets some direct air flow, but the temps have not changed.

 

The third is an Intel i3-6100t, also on an Asus B150i and also in an Antec ISK 300-150. This one never had the same airflow problems as the i7 rig, but the temps at roughly the same.

Which leads to my question(s). Are these temps normal / safe for these chipsets? If not, what should I do? Are after-market chipset coolers available?

Seriously though how is airflow and how good are the heatsinks on chipset (if any)

Seems pretty weak.

The one on the x370 is better, but still nothing special.

Airflow is about as good as its going to get in all 3 systems.

Similar to CPU's you don't want it to exceed 85C on chipsets, it's a little on the warm side of things but still safe.

Thanks! I appreciate the fast response.

I am upgrading the CPU coolers on the b150 systems right now and I hope it helps circulate some more air around the other components. Not sure what to do / if I should do anything about the x370, though.

If those are temps under load I wouldn't worry too much about it but if it's at idle see if some extra airflow near it helps.
