Damn that's a high resolution monitor. I'm sure it'll be a hit with the industry, I expect we won't see these kind of resolutions being common for another 4-5 years as 4K only now seems to be beginning to hit the mainstream. I can't imagine the benefit of 8K for any normal consumer at the moment, I can't even discern pixels on my 27" 4K monitor without being <20cm away.

You need way more than just buying the monitor, getting the flagship CPU and at-least three of the any high-end GPU to go with that 8k.

Do not forget glasses and a microscope. You're not going to see those pixels without those.

I think 8k is not for monitors, it's for phones and VR headsets..

Why 10bit HDR? It's just a marketing number, it won't give you better colors. Quantum dot IPS panels on the other hand...

Oh wait, there's that 1080p one from Phillips, that had like 99% AdobeRGB. And it wasn't that expensive either.

Their scaling implementation defeats the purpose of actually having a high resolution monitor. Also playing a game at higher scaling causes the picture to be blurry shitty looking when you try to run it at native res with windows scaling on, so as I said earlier shitty and pointless.

Eh 1080p to my eyes looks pixelated on monitors above like 17-20" . granted i do sit close to my mointiors then probably most people. i use 2 24" 1080p at work and dislike them compared to my 28" 4k its such a night and day difference in clarity
