the (O.C) means that it "should" be able to support XMP up to that speed if the memory can support it. 

 

And yes, that memory kit should work just fine with that board.

Hello LTT community,

 

I am currently buying parts for my new computer. So I've seen this Motherboard and I want to buy it. Now I'm not sure which Ram to buy. On Gigabyte.com it says that about 10 ram speeds are supported but on 8 of them there is an (O.C) behind it. What does this mean? Can I use this memory?
