What GPU for less than 300$

R9 Fury Nitro is the best for that price, depending on what country you live in.

Otherwise it would be the 1060/480. Or a used 980 TI (rare for less than $300).

If you have a seriously good 500 watt psu (this is cutting it pretty close), a good 550 watt psu, a decent 600 watt psu, or better go with an r9 fury... if this deal is available where you live:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202186&cm_re=r9_fury-_-14-202-186-_-Product

Also make sure this card fits in your case, it may be a close call.

You asked what GPU, you have been told the best one for your money at under $300. Obviously there is a whole tonne below $300

1050 < 1050ti < AMD 470 < 970  < 1060 3gb < 980 < 1060 6gb ~ 480 4gb/8gb < Fury < Fury X > 980ti

you will be very lucky to find a Fury X or 980ti for under $300

New card : RX 480 4GB is the best in terms of price/perf and often around 200$. Stay away from the GTX 1060 3GB though, it's usually a terrible bargain, and 3GB of VRAM is short for 1080p.

Used card : Fury X or 980 Ti for around 300$ would be awesome but like other said, pretty rare at that price

CPU : i7 8700k @5GHz, GPU : ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX, RAM : 2x8Go 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance, MB : ASUS Prime Z370-A, PSU : CM V850, Case :  NZXT S340, CPU Cooler : NZXT Kraken x62, Monitor : Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p 165Hz, OS : Windows 10 Home 64 bits
