i5 650 & i5 2400S builds

Hey guys, 

 

so recently moved countries and looks like my rig is going to take 90 days to get here. SO at work today found a fully working i5 650 and two i5 2400S CPUs with the possibility of a working MB coming up come monday. 

 

Guy at work has a 460 that works hes swinging my way. 

What you guys rate of these, It would be replacing the Mrs laptop with a 4th gen i5 and intel HD graphics. 

What would you guys do ? Keen for something fun while I wait for my rig, or loose my mind and just buy a whole new rig

2400s isn't bad, but the i5 650 is a dual-core. 

2400s + 460 wouldn't be totally crap, in fact quite good for light gaming and daily tasks

Yeah true, the 650 also has a 9800GT in it so i'm pretty much MLG Mountain Dew ready to 360 No scope ! 
 

Thinking if the MB comes through for the 2400S will sell this whole other rig and one of the 2400s. 

what you rate of the 1st gen i7's ? the 860 ? any good or not much better than a 2400S

I've got experience with a i7-870 + 650Ti system, and it chewed through GTAV, CSGO, BF3 fine at 1080p 60fps at medium settings

An X3470 OC'd is really really legit.

Well great update was cleaning more of the systems out the back and looks like I've gotten a i7 860

 

What graphics card would you rate combining it with before the Bottleneck strikes, Guess will sell both 2400s and the 9800GT and put that towards a older card  

Might even throw in a SSD for the lols.

Any of the Streamer guys had any experience with 1st Gen. 

Looking at popping in the HD60 into this and using it as a streaming PC.
