Streaming tv solution

Br3tt96

So my parents downgraded our cable months ago and we've had absolutely garbage for channels because of it. I talked them into PlayStation Vue because it's the same price as what we're paying and we get a lot better choice of channels. Well, I bought the Roku streaming stick and it has trouble connecting to the router not more than 20feet away or even 15feet away. I bought a little net gear wifi extender and it works great with the Roku now. The tv is in their bedroom which is a good distance from the router and extender. Now laptops and other devices connect just fine, but the Roku antenna is garbage. Is their a better streaming device with a better antenna?
